Notty Boy!
I was at Walmart on Monday getting groceries and a few other things. Kale thinks that he needs to walk instead of ride in the cart. I told him that he could walk if he held onto the cart, but if he was notty, that he had to get in the cart. We were almost done with our shopping trip and Kale started to run away. I went to pick him up, and he lays down and starts to kick and scream. Me being such a good mom, tells him that the can cry, and I stand there and watch him. I had one mother look at me and say, "I know just what it is like!" another mom, looked at me and walk away. Finally when he was done, I pick him up (crying again) and put him in the cart. He screamed 'NO Mom" until he saw the bag of Cheetoes. Sorry Kale notty boys don't get Cheetoes. Finally after we got check out and were starting to walk to the car, he decided that he was done crying and that maybe I wasn't the meanest mom ever!

Hilarious! Kasey is 5 and will still occasionally do that. Usually it's because I haven't gotten her the kind of cereal that she wanted.
Shopping with kids is the WORST! I still remember my 1st attempt with both of my girls. Madi was 2 and Maleea a few weeks old. I had Maleea in the cart and Madi was walking. Madi did GREAT the whole time shopping until we were going out to the car. She took off RUNNING through the parking lot and hid under a truck. (ARE YOU KIDDING ME!) I had to leave Maleea in the cart and climb under a truck to pull her out. I really don't know how she wasn't ran over that day. NOT A GOOD SHOPPING DAY FOR ME! That same day I went and bought a double stroller!
