Gabba Gabba

There is this show on whatever 121 is at my house (I think it is Nick Kids) that is called Yo Gabba Gabba. The Characters are a little different and the show is kind of weird, but Kale LOVES it! When I turn on the "movie" (or TV as the rest of us would call it) he say "Gabba Gabba, Mom. Gabba, Gabba!" This show is only on once a day at 2:30 and Kale is napping at that time of day, so I have started to DVR it for him. I figure why not. Dev and I have countless shows that we DVR, Kale should have at least one!!

I think that Yo Gabba Gabba is an Australian made show, because all the little kids that are on the show have a Aussie accent. I figure even if it is weird, at least there is some kind of lesson to learn and there is LOTS of singing and dancing which is Kale's favorite!

Good Morning Daddy!!

Dev gets Kale up every morning and gets him ready for the sitters or to stay at home with grandma, because I go to work at 6:30. The other morning, Dev went in to get Kale up. Kale was all snuggled up in his "Bankie", sitting at the end of the crib was his pants & his diaper. Some time in the middle of the night little Kale had decided to them off. When Dev saw what Kale had done, he asked Kale why he took his pants off? Kale hid his head in his bankie. Kale thinks that he always needs his pants off. Even in the middle of the day, he will sit down in the family room and take his pants off. The diaper doesn't come off as much as the pants, but I told him that if he is going to keep taking them off, that he needs to learn how to go potty like a big boy...our next challenge.

Spring Has Spung!!

At last spring is here (hopefully)!! We were at Dev's mom over the weekend, and the weather was so nice. Kale wanted to play outside all day. The flowers are coming up and because both Kale and I sunburn VERY easily, we both got a little bit of sun on out faces!!

Like Father Like Son!

We take regular trips to Cabelas, not to buy anything, simple to look at all the things Devin thinks and wishes he had. We walk thought the area with all the big Bucks & deer and the fish tank. Kale has never really paid much attention until our trip on Wednesday. He was fascinated by all the Deer, and yes, he says deer, we have a deer head hanging in our house, he learned that word a long time ago. When we went over to the fish tank, he nearly jumped out of the cart. All he wanted to do was get the fish. He kept hitting the glass and trying to get them. When a big fish would go by, he would point and go "wow!" It was so cute. I love that he is starting to be interested in all sorts of things!

Bono!

Kale is talking more and more each day. We have been listening and watching a lot of U2 this week, because of the new album coming out, and such! Anyway, I was saying something to Kale about Bono, and how we love U2, Kales response was...."Bono!" I started to laugh! Yep I said "Bono, you are so smart!!" I called my sister Janae (because she is a U2 freak like me) and had him say it to her over the phone, she laughed and told me I needed to teach him how to say "Edge!"
