Air Conditioning!

Turn on the AC summer is finally here! We decided to get Kale's pool out for a fun summer day! We washed the cars (it rained later) and Kale played in the pool with the neighbors dog(someday we will get our own). It was a fun family day!

Back-Hoe?

We have FINALLY started construction on the mother-in-law apartment!! We have been waiting as patiently as we could for it to get going and the backhoe showed up on the 15th to dig the holes for the foundation and the sewer. This was a great day at our house. Not only because they started on the construction, but also because there was a back hoe at our house. Kale LOVES any kind of big machinery. Dump truck, semi trucks, tractors, & most of all back hoes. We had to watch the back hoe being unloaded off of the trailer, we stood in the back yard or on the back patio the whole time the back hoe was digging. When the driver stopped for lunch, he asked Kale if he would like to rid/sit in the back hoe? It was like Christmas. Kale's eye got big and he took off for the "back hoe mom, back hoe, back hoe!!" He got to sit in it for about 20 minutes, and the whole time, he kept laughing and saying, "Driven back hoe mom!" It was a great moment! Kale couldn't have been happier! THANKS backhoe driver!!

HOT!!!

Ok, so I am a Twilight fan!! While I was in California, Shelisa and I watched the "New Moon" trailer more that a few times. We watched it mainly because we couldn't get enough of how HOT Jacob is! I am not ashamed to say this. Yes I am married and I love Devin very much, but come

on, have you SEEN Jacob! So....Shelisa, this one is for you!!

New Kitchen!

BEFORE!

One of my stipulation when moving to Leamington was that the kitchen HAD to be remodeled. The kitchen had light oak with a white washed finish for cupboards, and forest green countertops....Yes forest green! I had a couple of bids on the kitchen, and decided that it would be a good time to have the remodel done while Kale & I were in California.

So, I came home to a beautiful new kitchen & new appliances.

to have one. It will keep Kale

& our dog (when we get one)

backsplash put in!

thing. You can wipe all of the

crumbs & such right into the sink!

I would love for anyone to come and see it. We are making A LOT of changes to the house, this is only the beginning!

P.S. We got a convection oven. I was told when I bought it that I could bake 3-4 cookie sheets at a time. I tested it on Sunday, and it worked. You can cook a whole batch of cookie (3 sheets with my recipe) at one time!

California!

Kale and I took a trip to California for a week to stay with my sister Janae. The biggest reason we were going was because Shelisa was graduating for High School. We had a lot of fun! Kale loves Kayla & Alyssa, and they love him just as much (I think)! I would be Kale's friend until the girls got home from school (he always took a nap because I am not as much fun), and then it was a great vacation for me. The girls played with him followed him around, and much more (THANKS GIRLS!!)

Ken has an Indian Motorcycle, that Kale thought was great. It is parked in the garage, so everytime Kale would go out the garage, he was say "motorcycle" and then he would have to sit on it. We kept telling him that he could ride it until Ken got home from work. Ken walked in the door from work, and Kale was at his feet, "motorcycle?!" He finally got his ride! I am not quite sure what he thought of it. It is a bit loud, and when he got off, his face was a little scared, but the next day he started to say "motorcycle" again!

Trailer!

We have been looking at buying a travel trailer for a long time. Well we decided that it was time. Dev is going to be doing a lot of hunting this summer and fall, and he wants Kale and I to come. I told him that there was NO WAY I was hunting/camping in a tent. So he came home with a new trailer. It is very nice! It has bunkbeds for Kale, and he thinks that he is pretty hot stuff! The only thing that it is missing is a flat screen TV, which we are going to be getting soon! We took a little camping trip up Nephi canyon a few weekends ago to try it out!
