Today, we went to Heber to see Thomas the Train. Comcast was a sponsor, so we were able to get free tickets! Kale was very excited to ride the train, and that was about it. When we first got there and he saw the train, he wanted to jump the fence and get on. We told him that he had to wait his turn. We walked around took pictures, went to the petting zoo, but all he wanted to do was get on the train. Thankfully, we didn't have to wait too long before it was time for our ride. We had a fun time, and the weather was very nice.

Ice Cream You Scream!
Kale loves grandpa, and Kale loves ice cream, so what better than to have ice cream with grandpa at the Red Barn. We ordered a baby cone, but I think they forgot and gave him a regular size. When he got it, his eye got big, and he grabbed it from grandpa. He ate all but just a little bit of the cone, which he gave to grandpa and told him "me done"!!

Is it Bella?
When Devin & I lived in Holladay, we had a black lab named Bella. We loved her so much, but when it came time to get our new house in Herriman, with NO yard, we decided to give her away. Since we have moved to Leamington, we have made friends with the neighbor dog, that looks just like Bella. Her name is Rosey.

Cinco de Mayo
We decided to celebrate Cinco de Mayo, because we love Mexican food, and Devin sometimes thinks that he is Mexican. Dev pick up a pound of our favorite Mexi-Meat from the stinky Mexican store in Midvale, and brought it home to grill up. We had fajitas with our meat, and we decided to try and copy a salsa that we had in Mexico, that we loved. We grilled 3 tomatoes, added garlic, juice for 1 lime, onions, and salt. I just added stuff, until I thought that it tasted good. I would have added a jalapeno, but I didn't have any. We have decided that it is all about the grilled tomatoes. It just give the salsa some extra yumminess. Give it a try, I think you will like it!

Concert!
My sister Janae & I are U2 "groupies!" I flew to San Francisco in November of 2005 to see u2 with her and my niece Shelisa. We had been awaiting the release of the new album "No Line on the Horizon" because we new this meant a concert would soon follow. We had plans for Janae to come to Utah and see them, but they aren't coming here YET. So we decided that we would meet in Las Vegas and see them there. We are dragging Devin & Ken with us. We got 11th row side seats, because we both belong to the U2 club on U2.com, we were able to get presale tickets.

STOP asking us!
So Devin & I went to Mexico on the 18th of April and were there for a week. Friday (4/24/09) the day before we left to come home, the news at the Resort started to talk about the Swine Flu, and how there were 1000 people in Mexico City who had the flu. When we got to the states the next day, and saw the news, all it could talk about was the Swine flu, and because some of our friends and family knew we had been in Mexico, they automatically assumed that we were infected with it.
I don't know how many of you know, but there are over 18 million people living in Mexico City. To put this into prospective , there are currently approximately 2,736,424 living in the STATE of Utah.
Devin & I stayed at a resort in Puerto Vallarta with my sister Janae and her husband Ken. None of us have the Swine Flu! If I have one more person ask me about it, I will start to tell people that yes, I have been felling a little under the weather, and I think that it must be that, because of course, it jsut couldn't be something like the common cold or allergies.
