What Did You Say?!

My niece Shelisa in California, always tells me that I have such funny and great sayings or weird words. She told me that I need to start posting a word or phase of the week! I told her that I would give it a try, but in return, the word or phase much be used at least one time during the week! If you have any suggestions, please send them my way!

The BEST Comcast Christmas Party EVER!!

Comcast usually has pretty good Christmas parties! We have had a party at This is the place Monument, we have had a party with an open bar (comes in a close second best!!), but for the past few years, they have been at the Grand America Hotel. Then food is always very good there, but the entertainment hasn't been that great until this year!! Comcast went above and beyond expectations!! See picture below....

















Ok, I know what you are supposed to be thinking "U2 came to the Comcast Party!" Well close, they had a band called the Joshua Tree which is a U2 cover band play! This band is the next best U2! 'Bono" was amazing! His actions, movement and voice were just like Paul Hewson (the real Bono)! So I had to get a picture take with him, I figured that this was the closest I will probably be to Bono unless I go to Africa to save the poverty stricken kids!!



P.S. We have to dress up for the party, or I would have been in jeans and my U2 shirt!!

My tree sold at the festival for $5000!! Mark Shuttlif the Attorney General of Utah bought it!

Festival of Tree!

I had the opportunity to decorate a tree for the Festival of Trees. If you don't know what this is, it is something they do at Christmas time, you decorate a tree, and then the tree is auctioned off and the money goes to Primary Children's Hospital. Comcast was awesome enough, to give me $2000 to make my tree. I had a few stipulations, but over all, I could do pretty much what I wanted. My sister Janae flew in from California to help he decorate the tree. We had a lot of fun, and hope that we can do it again next year! THANKS COMCAST!!
