All Because we Sold Shoes!

On Saturday, I was able to see my good friend Denise (Matheson) Faukner. We haven't seen each other in forever. I used to work with Denise at Euro Comfort a shoe store that was in the Provo Towne Centre Mall. I loved working there. It was the best job I think that I have ever had. All the girls that I worked with were great, and we have lots fun! We used to hit on all the hot guys that worked in the mall and came into our store, had a great boss (Karen Roth), laughed and cried A LOT, tried on all the ugly and cute shoes in the store, but most of all just became friends. My, how things have changed! I really don't keep in touch with many of the girls I worked with there, but they will all leave many memories.

Just for the Euro Girls.... Remember the time that Tia broke off her engagement in the back room! Rememeber when we worked Sundays, and we used to sit it the back roon and watch the mirror to see if anyone was coming in, or when we put one of the benches behind that counter so we could sit on it, Do you remember the Doc Marten Rep...."Sunday Pearl", or Denise's cell phone boyfriend....what was his name?? I could go on and on about all the fun times we all had together....thanks, I love you all!

PWT

For those of you who don't know what PWT stands for, it is the abbreviation for poor white trash. My sister and I use it when others are around and the word needs to be use. Well if you haven't noticed, there are a lot of PWT kids out there. Just go to any Walmart, and you will be sure to spot a few. One of my pet peeves are little kids in just a diaper or just a onesie with snot and other dirt, or food crusties on their face. Well, Kale had a PWT moment not to long ago. He did have pants and a shirt on, but he had been playing outside, and had eaten or tasted just about every thing he could get his hands on. We were up to the Fish Lake cabin, so in was a little cool, so he also had a running nose.....all of that resulting in PWT Kale!!

SUMMER FUN!!

We are glad that it is finally summer!! We have been waiting to play outside and swim! This week, we went down to our neighbors for a little swim party. After I lathered him up with sun screen I let him get in the water. At first Kale wasn't sure about the little pool, because the big kids were splashing and he didn't like that; but once he got used to it, he thought that it was pretty cool, and that he was HOT stuff. Today while we were at Walmart, we found a little pool for $5.00 (this is why I shop at Walmart) we bought it so that Kale can have his own little pool!

Father's Day!

This was Dev's 2nd official Father's Day and we decided to go to Fish Lake. Dev loves Fish Lake, so we talked him into taking Friday off, and we made a long weekend of it. Devin did a lot of fishing and Kale and I mostly just hung out! We had a lot of fun! Kale & I gave Dev a spotting scope for Father's Day. He has been wanting one for quite a while now.

Ear Infections!

Little Kale has had his share of ear infections in his first year of life. Devin and I think that he has had at least 6-8. We are now debating whether it is time for Kale to get tubes in his ears? Yesterday when we went to the doctor, he didn't say anything about tubes, but I think that it is time that I bring up the subject. I am sure there are advantages and disadvantages to tubes, so I will have to look at all of them, but if it means that it will help Kale not get them as often, I am on board!
